Once again a beautiful warm evening with light wind for the 39 competitors to race the 6 laps (20km) of the motor racing circuit.
Group 1 were given an extra minute handicap and rode extremely well to not be caught by the following groups, with most of the riders in Groups 2, 3 and 4 all finishing about 30 - 60 seconds behind.
In Group 1 Scott Murray was first, Dave Bett second and Jesse Douglas 3rd all credited with the same time of 35min 35sec.
First women to finish was Jo Donaldson with Jenny Loe second.
In Group 2 Geoff Neame was first and son Nick once again beating father Brent Cameron into 2nd.
Group 3 stayed together as one bunch throughout the race with Mike Langley and Michael Spedding leading the sprint to the finish in a time of 31min 34sec
Group 4 once again Nik and Wayne lead the group in in a time of 28min 33sec.
Remember that next week will be a Time Trial of around 15km.
