Results for Tuesday 10 April road race held at the motor racing circuit covering 6 laps, a distance of 20km.
This week the scratch group were given a generous handicap with Mike Northcott, Carwyn May and Wayne McConaghy charging through the field to win comfortably in 28.40min.
Weather conditions were ideal enabling riders to post some good times, in particular our youngest competitor Nicholas Barnes who rode the 6 laps in 39.40min; father Dean produced an excellent 29.50min time which promotes him from the third to the fourth handicap group.

This Sunday, leaving from Top Gear Cycles at 8am we plan to have an easy ride down to the Liquorice Cafe at Motuopa and return after a leisurely coffee.
Racing again next Tuesday at the motor racing circuit at 6pm and with darkness closing in so much earlier lights are required.
