Track - CH propose a separate track committee. ML propose that a written proposal but together and present to club committee for discussion at next meeting.
Track committee will aim to start end of Sept when the track season starts CH talk to Dale Cheatly from Wanganui and Mark McLean of Auckland, and will propose something closer to Sept to work in with other areas.
Graeme Aktin will be away for 1 month CH to keep in contact with him re helping the club.
Junior development, Chris Todd been busy will get going over spring.
Quotes for three track bikes are to be gathered by ML and Top Gear Cycles was the cheapest.
56cm bike has subsequently been received by club and we are waiting for 2 x 58cm bikes until new seasons bikes arrive as there are none available.
Club Membership forms needs to be changed – no centre levy – Centre levy has to be added for centre, national, and international licences, membership also doesn’t down load correctly.
Tuesday night riders now should be made to have a club licence, Non club members to pay $2 to start kids $1, this information is to be put in the next newspaper add. As from Tuesday 3rd July must be a member to start or pay $2.
Racetrack Tuesday nights – power to be use, we provide light does race track mind using power. ML to follow up. Plug found ok to use GU has provided light.
Timing system to be trialed for Cycle Challenge. Waiting for feed back.
Track racing on Wednesday nights up to 10 riders starting with more expected during summer.
Draw for the dinner has put of the membership promotion, JW to get a list and it is to be drawn at Plateau on Sunday, 22 people qualify. The winner was Alan Goile from Reporoa he gets dinner for two at Plateau to value of $100, SD to organise with Plateau.
Sunday social ride at 9am has it been successful? Sunday 1st June change both bunch rides to 9am start for the winter months.
Plateau has changed its opening hours, so Yama café has offered to look after the Sunday bunch, they are supplying a free coffee for all riders if they purchase an item of food. To start immediately.
Track Napier Club to hire track on 17/03/07 for $50 fee to be invoiced.
Lights at velodrome to be on Mon, Wed and Thurs through the winter months from 5.30pm to 8pm GU to arrange.
JW to drop tent etc into container at velodrome.
ML -Taupo/Napier race 22nd or 29 sept Doug Simmons is not able to do the same as last year so club will have to help out more. ML to contact Ivan Chaplin from Napier re what is involved.
Mark Halewood is to resign as club secretary as from July 2007 as he is moving to Wellington. All property belonging to the club has been returned.
Next meeting August 6th at Scenic Cellars 6.30pm if any urgent business develops prior that date a special meeting will be called.
