Minutes of Meeting: Held 13th August 2007, 6.30PM

Matters arising, from last meeting;
Junior Development,
A proposal put forward for employing a professional coach has been presented to the Club, however general feedback suggests that the Junior squad are happy with the current program managed by Mark Gibson. This current program is not as structured, and has a fun element to cater for all levels of ability, ages and sporting directions, ie Triathlon, Mountain biking etc.
Taupo Cycling Club will be applying for funding remuneration for the valuable coaching skills supplied by local idenities. MR
Two new large size track bikes were supplied and delivered to the velodrome container.
Update Asset register with serial numbers and contact Chris Henderson on bike register. SD
Club website to be updated by Digithink, Club membership, able to download, add bike shop links, Yama logo, change current contact phone numbers, and clean up files on Club laptop. JW

Winner of our early membership competition was Alan Goile. Congratulations, hope you enjoyed your meal at Plateau.
Sunday bunch rides will continue to leave from outside Top Gear Cycles at 9AM, until Sunday the 2nd September, then we will go back to 8AM start.
Napier/Hastings Subway are kindly sponsoring the Taupo to Napier Classic this year on Saturday September the 22nd. Taupo Cycling Club to supply up to 4 vehicles and volunteers required to help out on the day. ML liasing with the Ramblers on this.
Constitution to be reviewed and passed at next AGM.
AGM to held on the 15th October 2007.

Taupo Cycling Club will be entering a team or two in the Jamis Day Night MTB race this year, anyone welcome to join in, names to Graham Usher. The more the merrier.
Tuesday night racing will try a new 10 lap handicapped race when daylight savings starts.
Susan Watson has volunteered to fill in as Club Secretary for the next couple of months.
