A small field on a very windy evening for a 5 lap individual time trial. The strong southeasterly made it extremely tricky riding out to the circuit on Broadlands Road. One member who shall remain nameless, stopped on the side of the road and called his wife to come and pick him up - that’s how strong the gusts were!
