It was a beautifully fine and warm evening for the racing tonight with 26 riders including 5 from Tokoroa that John Barber encouraged to come and join us. The race tonight was 8 laps anticlockwise starting in four reasonable sized groups that were unable to stay together as bunches - we’ll try and be more accurate with the handicaps next week! Group 1 did not complete the race due to Dave Brett having a nasty fall on Turn 1, hope those ribs heal quickly Dave so that we have you out on the track again in a few weeks.
Most of? the scratch group? managed to ride through the whole field (they were probably fortunate that Dave’s group 1 pulled out) and in the sprint finish Patrick won again with John, Brad, Jarrod, Wayne and Spud all in the same time of 39.11min. In group 2 Graeme, Dean and Trevor Standen (Tok) all finished in a time of 43.40.
