Round 2 28th Jan 2014

A beautiful clear night  was a good way to have the second nights racing

Many thanks to the time keepers that make this all happen!

Link below for results and updated from last week.

So the first night was on the 21st Jan, and a moderate turn out, maybe the wind and cyclone June had something to do with it, However a hardy bunch turned up for some good racing, esp the A grade was a good hit and with a big lunge to get over the line.

We seened however to have a little confusion over C grade, if you can help out that would be good.

Results are here  Summer_Series_race_results_2014_Jan_21.pdf

Look forward to seeing you again on the 28th

Yes the ever popular summer series is starting up again at the Taupo Motor Sport park.

Kicking off on the 21st Jan; Registration and seeding from 5.40.

Remember to park in the building next to the track

Once again sponsored by Pak N Save Taupo

And just a reminder that racing is free for two meetings, after that you MUST register with Bike NZ the link is here http://www.bikenz.org.nz/

Any questions email barry@DBCON.co.nz or carl.smith@fiber-fresh.com

See you there!

The results are self-explanatory and based on these results I would like to suggest the following changes to benefit and be fair to all riders:

  • Tony Tinworth is promoted to A Grade
  • Chris Todd is promoted to B Grade
  • John Kuper is promoted to C Grade

These are my suggestions only and I welcome your comments.

Happy new year to you all and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

we have had a number of our wonderful committee members resign and move away from here.
