2015 INTERCLUB SERIES RACE 2 Tokoroa
14 Taupo Cycle Club members braved the cold and took to the races at Tokoroa for Race 2 of the Interclub series.
Congratulations to the Womens 40k riders, Hannah Howell, Melissa Johnson and Lynette Braithwaite taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Also congrats to Kiaan Watts, First in Grade B, (Tony Tinworth just missing out in 4th) Stephen McDonald and Jack Edwards, 2nd and 3rd in Grade C. Full Results are under the results tab
2015 INTERCLUB SERIES
5 club members took on the wind and roads in the back of Rotorua to race Tokoroa and Rotorua clubs with mixed results.
1 win, 1 puncture, 1 sixth place and 2 nearly rans earned the club 35 points for this years shield.
Well done to Megan Lockett for her win, great race. Lets hope theres more of us in Tokoroa on 21st June.

SUNDAY MORNING RIDES
The Sunday Morning Rides are in 2 main groups, the faster bunch at 8:30 and the slower bunch at 9:00. For more information see Weekly Rides Tab and: Sun Morning Rides

The Taupo cycling club needs you! We have had a number of our wonderful committee members resign and move away from here.
I know it sounds cliched but we can only run the club on volunteer help.

Taupo Cycling Club provides activities for cycling enthusiasts.
The club was the major driving force behind the building of the local cycling velodrome. This project was supported by the community, through various fund raising activies.
The goal of the club is to encourage & develop the sport of cycling, through organised activities.
